Discretion Guarantee
Effective from 16 August 2026. Last updated 16 August 2026.
Your privacy is an absolute priority for me. This website does not track you in any way and all our communication remains confidential. This document is both a privacy policy and a cookie policy.
With me, discretion is a condition, not a bonus — here you may verify it. It is a guarantee that works both ways: my services require safety on both sides, and the same protection I ask for myself is the protection you receive.
This website does not track you
What is not here:
- No analytics — no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no measurement code from social networks.
- No analytics, marketing or advertising cookies. No third-party cookies.
- I do not track what you click on, where you came from or where you go next. No profiling, no automated decision-making — I answer your message personally.
- When the page loads, your browser downloads nothing from other people’s servers — even the fonts are stored here.
If your browser is from the last few years, this website stores nothing at all on your device — not one cookie. The form is protected by a header the browser sends of its own accord. Only older browsers receive the technical cookie _nss: always the same value, no personal data, gone the moment the browser is closed.
That is why you will find no consent banner here. Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — and there are none of those here.
The one exception is the Instagram link in the footer: it leads away from this website, and only by clicking it do you let Meta know that you came from here.
What I collect in the form and why
I process only what you fill in yourself:
- your name or alias — so that I know how to address you,
- your e-mail — so that I can reply to you,
- your phone or Signal contact — if e-mail does not suit you,
- the proposed date and time of the meeting,
- the expected duration of the meeting,
- the place and location,
- the text of your message.
There is a single purpose: to handle your invitation and reply to you. I use the data for nothing else and I send out no offers.
The alias in the form is no accident — you do not have to write your real name to me. And if e-mail does not suit you, give me a Signal contact: it is end-to-end encrypted.
You submit the form over an encrypted connection, and this website has no database. Your message is delivered and kept by the e-mail provider Proton Mail, based in Switzerland — a country which the European Commission has found to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
The legal basis is your consent: you give it by ticking the box, and without it the form will not be sent. You may withdraw it at any time at privacy@vivienarden.com, without giving a reason.
How long I keep the data
No longer than 12 months from our last message. No law requires me to archive anything; a year is merely room enough for our arrangement to be taken up again.
Would you like them removed sooner? Write to privacy@vivienarden.com. I will do so without asking why.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you the following rights:
- access — you may ask what data I hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- rectification — whatever is wrong or has changed, I will put right;
- erasure — I will delete the data on request;
- restriction of processing — you may ask me to do nothing with the data for the time being;
- data portability — you may receive your data in a machine-readable form;
- withdrawal of consent — at any time and without giving a reason.
You exercise them at privacy@vivienarden.com — a dedicated mailbox where a request for erasure does not get lost among the other messages. I need no justification and I will reply within one month; that time limit is set for me by the Regulation.
If you are not satisfied with the way I proceed, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7 (uoou.cz).
Who I am and where to reach me
The controller of your data is myself — the operator of this website, appearing under the pseudonym Vivien Arden. I am not a company but a private individual working in the Czech Republic and governed by Czech law; I do not state my legal name publicly.
I do not, however, hide from the supervisory authority: I will prove my identity to the Office for Personal Data Protection at any time that authority calls upon me to do so. It is the only place to which I disclose it — and that is precisely why my promise of discretion carries weight.
For matters of data protection write to privacy@vivienarden.com, for a meeting and everything else to contact@vivienarden.com.
